Mondays...

Well, it's Monday morning, and I don't know about most of you, but I usually feel pretty tired on Monday mornings….especially after weekends when I have responsibilities, such as speaking at all 3 masses! Speaking of which, it was great to get to meet some of you and I truly appreciate all of you who came to say 'hi' to me after the masses! I had 99% positive feedback, and the 1% that wasn't as positive was meant to be motivational, so I'm accepting it for what it's worth.

Also, we had an exciting and interesting Youth Band evening…thanks to the 11 or 12 that were able to make it! I'm sure we'll have a few more as the year goes on. For those who are reading this that were not there - we will not start up officially until October. Last night was more a 'let's see who's interested', and sadly none of us had a guitar that arrived around 6, so no singing was done! :( But next time, the majority of our time will be spent making music!, so I guess we have something to look forward to :) Please shoot me an email if you want to participate but were unable to attend last night - sjv-molly@charterinternet.com

So, since it's a Monday, I'll keep this short, after all, I don't overwork anyone's mind today…so now the verse of the day. One that I truly love, and even own a little business card of it that's a bookmark in my Bible. I actually found this 'bookmark' in the book of Ezra…not sure what I was reading in that section. I'm guessing that may actually be in there from high school…so that shows how often I've read in the book of Ezra over the past 6 years…anyways, without further ado:

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.'" - Jeremiah 29:11-13
